The Role:  you will be responsible for overseeing the daily on-site operations, ensuring that construction activities are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. You will coordinate the site labour force and specialist subcontractors, monitor progress to ensure the project remains on schedule, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Site Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and safe execution of all construction activities.
  • Coordination: Manage and coordinate the site labour force and specialist subcontractors to achieve project milestones.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in strict accordance with project specifications.
  • Health and Safety: Enforce rigorous health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Progress Monitoring: Assist the project team in tracking progress, ensuring the project stays aligned with the agreed programme timelines.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with the project team, clients, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project goals.

Specific Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 7+ years in site management, ideally with a main contractor. Experience in large-scale commercial or mixed-use developments is an advantage.
  • Qualifications: A third-level qualification in a relevant discipline or a trades background with strong knowledge of construction trades.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with excellent delegation, organisational, and teamwork abilities.
