The Recruitment and Onboarding function in IWA is tasked with sourcing and recruiting the best candidates for the vacant positions. Supporting managers and staff to deliver the highest quality of service to our members and ensuring best practice Recruitment and Onboarding is embedded across our organisation.

Working in a busy and rewarding environment, you will work as part of IWA’s centralised Recruitment and Onboarding team. You will carry out and be responsible for the full range of administrative processes including, screening applications, coordinating collection of new starter paperwork, assisting on recruitment open days and administering the onboarding and “Welcome to the Company” packs. The role is customer facing and you will be the primary point of contact for applicants, IWA staff and managers.

Liaison

Reporting to the Recruitment Team Lead, you will work closely and collaboratively with your colleagues in the Recruitment team and wider HR Department. You will establish positive and productive relationships with other IWA departments including Operations and support functions. As a strong communicator you will build relationships with applicants, new starters, IWA managers and staff and deliver a high level of customer satisfaction.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Act as first point of contact for general Recruitment and Onboarding queries from applicants, candidates, new employees, line managers and existing employees.

Carry out and be responsible for the full range of Recruitment and Onboarding processes.

Responding to queries concerning job openings, reviewing applications, maintaining the Applicant Tracking System and maintaining data related to the company’s recruiting activities.

Support IWA’s quality process by ensuring all recruitment and onboarding records are audit ready and directly support the audit process.

Constantly review, update and enhance processes to generate efficiencies and improve candidate responsiveness, commitment to continuous improvement

General administration, including processing incoming/outgoing mail, filing, garda vetting, collation and distribution of documentation, satationary office supplies etc.

Any other relevant duties that may be assigned by your manager

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Training, Experience and Qualifications

Experience working in a busy office environment, preferably in HR or Recruitment.

Relevant qualification at QQI Level 5 or above in a HR discipline.

Excellent administrative and IT skills including a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite are essential.

Previous experience of creating and maintaining databases (e.g. ATS, HRIS etc.) is desirable

Previous experience working in a Recruitment/Onboarding or HR environment would be an advantage.

Experience of working in a compliance led environment would be beneficial.

Full Drivers Licence and access to own car, would be an advantage
